BLUEBERRY PICKING
OUR BLUEBERRY SEASON  -  Our 2021 Blueberry crop looks like it's going to be PLENTIFUL.  Blueberry season should begin early July and lasts about 1 month.  When enough fruit is ripe - we open the field for picking.  We pick the entire field from one end to the other.  Once completely picked we let the field rest for a few days for more fruit to ripen.  When enough fruit is ripe again - we again open the field for picking - and the cycle continues.  Dates and Times change due to crowd size and the weather.  Please visit our website each morning prior to coming out to check to see if we're picking for that specific day..
OUR BLUEBERRIES - For the Ripest, Juiciest, Sweetest Tasting Blueberries - it's worth the trip to  "The Strawberry Basket" in Monticello, MN.  We incorporate and adhere to environmentally sound practices and sustainable cultural methods of production.  This in turn leads to a healthy and high quality product for the consumer.  We have a variety of blueberry cultivars, with Northblue, Polaris, Chippewa and Northland as our mainstay.  We often get comments from folks who mention how our berries are so much more sweeter than at other farms they've visited.  This we contribute to the hard work/long hours of both ourselves and our pollinator friends (Bumble and Honey Bees).  When you come visit, you too will say WOW!, look at all that fruit, and how tall the bushes stand out.
